Exploring Community Insights: A Journey through Caoayan's Community-Based Research

Community-Based Research (CBR) is a  Research study conducted by us,  four members of our group who similarly came from the same community specifically the community of Caoayan. Our study was all about the Arts and Culture of our community, but focusing more on Urban Legends. This study was somewhat not easy for us to conduct because we didn't know where to conduct our study, however we still managed to conduct it and made an interview about the urban legends of Caoayan from elders.

We were assigned specific  parts for our web design. Although, we were assigned different tasks to make our project more easier, everyone of us still helped each other. We made and finalized our project at our leader's house which became a big help for us to finish it sooner. In conducting our study, we decided to interview at least ten elders.

While having the interview, many stories was told to us which made us more entertained  and curious for our very own culture. We were amazed by what we have heard from them. Their stories might be unbelievale at first, but hearing the stories from the ones who had seen it ane experienced our urban legends first hand made us have the  goosebumps.

Listening to their stories is like the feeling of being a kid who gets to hear stories before going to bed. Just like the stories for children, our urban legend are adventorous and entertaining, yet memorable and lesson-giving. A lesson that we should and we must treasure the arts and ulture of our community. Our culture resonates the past of our community and ancestors which needs to be preserved for the next generations.

In conclusion, this  Community-Based Research is really helpful and essential for people. As this helps us to be more aware of our community.  Also, this is a big help for citizens to love their respective communities, to treasure and respect the things that sbolizes their communities.
