Bring out the Molave in you

The Philippines is a land rich in natural resources, scenic locales, and friendly smiles of its people. It is blessed with a moderate climate making it an ideal sun holiday destination. The country has many attractions, including beautiful beaches like in Boracay, impressive mountains, and a rich cultural heritage sites.

Our country had gone through a lot of  natural calamities like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, typhoons and even tsunami. Filipinos had gone through a lot too. Through the years of going through many calamities, they've come to be used to it. In every struggles they're facing, they can still put a smile on their faces. In every traumatizing experiences, they can still see the bright side of  life, they can still think positively that everything is going to be fine someday, as long as they trust themselves and  help each other to rise as a whole and as a family.

President Manuel L. Quezon once said " I want our people to be like a Molave tree, strong and resilient, standing on the  hillsides, unafraid  of the rising tide, lightning and the storm, confident of its strength." With these simple words, it gave a huge impact to the fellow Filipinos and became their inspiration and motivation.

We face a lot of struggles and we should trust ourselves that we can get through it. Filipinos is like  a Molave tree and they are not afraid of these calamities and struggles in their lives.

My once struggles

Hi! I'm Alhean Charlette Rondaris. A lot of people mispronounce my name, reading it like Alin, Aleyn, Alhin, sometimes they even call me Sharlet and not, Aleyan Tsarlet. I am currently 14 years old, turning 15 years old in October. I was born on October 29, 2008. I still remember when I was 12 years old, someone told me that I look like a 15 year old girl and I got conscious because of that, but later then she explained that I just look really matured.

When I was 4 years old, I always carry my mother's nail cleaning tools after I woke up. I was really obsessed with beauty products back then that I always steal my cousin's  lipstick when going out. I was born with no talents but I grew up with multiple talents. When I was a kid, I still remember myself, trying to sing gracefully but it just ruined my neighbor's eardrums. As I grew up, I had this more soft and not flat voice when singing.

Before, I was really stiff when  it comes to dancing, so even though I wanted to dance in front, I had no confidence to do so. But now, I'm always dancing smoothly in the front when doing a performance and it's because I worked for it. I believe in the saying  "Practice makes Perfect", don't just go with the flow. Furthermore, I can also paint and draw. And yes, you guessed it right, I can't do these things before.

Ending my stories, I was an incomplete masterpiece, but strived hard to have my last missing pieces. I always try to be better and do better to strengthen my weaknesses and go out of my comfort zone.
